ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Melanie, a forest geneticist from Germany. I'm currently living in Québec, Canada, to do my postdoc at the Université Laval.
I studied forest science at the Technical University Dresden and already specialised in forest genetics in my Bachelor and Master thesis. After that, I did my PhD about climate adaptation in spruce.
For me forest genetics feels like to reveal the little secrets of trees. With my blog I want to share my passion for trees and genetics with science interested people. I want to get more involved in science communication, so don't hasitate to contract me. :)
